Contact
Let's get started.
My home base is in Decatur, Georgia, but I'm eager to work with customers from all over the world. Unfortunately I don't travel, but that's nothing a phone, Skype, and e-mail can't solve.
The best way to contact me is to email rob at robsteiner dot net. You can also find me on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
I don't like getting spammed any more than you do. That's why I won't reveal or sell your personal information to third parties. The information collected here will be used by me -- and only me -- to better serve your needs.

Bid Letter
After discussing your project, I'll send you a Bid Letter with my fee and the project's scope. I'll get started once you sign the Bid and return it to me by fax, email, or snail mail.
Payment
For first-time clients, 1/3 of my fee is due after you sign the Bid Letter and before I begin the project, with the rest due upon completion. For all clients, payment is due 15 days after completion. For all Bids over $1500, I require an initial 1/3 deposit.
Rush surcharge
A 20% charge is assessed when a 48-hour deadline is given, or when you ask me to work holidays and weekends (for example, the project is assigned Thursday/Friday and due the following Monday/Tuesday).
Included in the price
The flat fee in my Bid Letter includes time spent on creative brainstorming, writing/development, and revisions.
Unlimited revisions, but...
My fees include unlimited revisions, as long as they're given to me within 30 days after you receive the copy/site, and they do not go beyond the scope of the original Bid Letter. Revisions beyond the scope of the original Bid Letter are subject to additional fees at my normal rates.
Kill fees
If the project is cancelled for any reason after I deliver the final copy/site, I'm still entitled to full payment of the fee in the Bid Letter. If the project is cancelled before final delivery, I'm entitled to 1/3 of the fee agreed to in the Bid Letter.
Sorry, no spec work
Unfortunately I don't have the time to work on projects unless I have an approved Bid Letter. That means I cannot give you "sample layouts" or a "proof of concept" before you hire me.
Confidentiality
Your privacy is important to me. I will not reveal information on the internal workings of your company (e.g., policies, prices, personnel, etc.) to third parties unless you explicitly, in writing, allow me to do so.
