Portfolio – E-Learning and Videos

Experienced in e-learning course development and demo video production with the Articulate, Captivate, Adapt (open source), Camtasia, and Google Vids.

Book Trailer – Muses of Roma

I produced this small book trailer video to promote my novel, MUSES OF ROMA, from selecting the images and music to the video editing. Tools: PhotoShop, iMovie.

E-learning Course – Point of Sale (POS) Performance Support E-Learning

Developed and managed this project from start to finish. I interviewed the subject matter experts, facilitated task analysis and design sessions, and personally brought it all together in Articulate Storyline.

Interaction – Ask the ‘May I?’ Question

Wrote and developed this small interaction that was added into a larger e-learning course. Tools: Articulate Engage.

Microlearning – MiniLearn Scenario Quiz

Released weekly, the MiniLearn questions gave store cashiers small scenarios that promoted best practices and discouraged negative behaviors. Cashiers received points in the LMS for a 100% score. Those points contributed to a nationwide leader board that was updated monthly with the highest scores.

Responsive E-learning – The Novels of Rob Steiner

Responsive e-learning ensures that a single version of a course provides a viewing experience optimized for all devices, from desktop to tablet to smart phones. Adapt is a free, open-source e-learning development tool that excels at this. If you’re viewing this sample on a desktop, adjust your browser size to see what I mean. And forgive my shameless self-promotion.

Storyboard – POS Performance Support Design

Facilitated interviews with subject matter experts to design and write a storyboard for the POS PS e-learning course. Written with an Agile sensibility to provide “just in time” course development specifications. Tools: MS PowerPoint, Articulate Presenter.

Video Demo – Reset a course on LearnYourWay

I recorded this live demo for new LMS administrators to show them how to perform the most common Help Ticket request we got. Tool: Adobe Presenter Video.
